Chris Houlden

Chris was an energetic lady filled with a great sense of joy and fun. She spread kindness and happiness to everyone she met. To her family and friends she is just irreplaceable and our feelings of loss are immeasurable. A keen all round sportswoman able to obtain good times in London and other marathons; a cyclist; a cold water swimmer and a long distance walker.

In her retirement Chris was a fabulous baker of wonderful cakes. A remarkable and much loved lady who made the world a better place by just being alive. One of those rare people who gave freely but asked for nothing in return.

What a tremendously devastating loss but, thankfully, many treasured memories to cherish.
