Langley Mill C of E Infants School – 10 Years of Fundraising!
Langley Mill CofE Infant School is a small school with a big heart located in Derbyshire.
Every Valentine’s Day the pupils and parents raise money for Headcase in memory of teacher Becky Speirs, who died from a GBM in 2010.
Headteacher Karen Scrivens organises the fundraising event in memory of her friend and colleague. After 10 years of Valentines they school has raised an incredible £1750, which as Karen says is just fantastic for such a small school.
In 2021 the pupils took part in a virtual Friday Favourites event which you can read about on the school’s Facebook page
